Would You Like to Become a Patron?

The Mayfield Festival Choir Society is heavily dependent upon its Patrons to build on its reputation for outstanding performances of major choral works. The costs of engaging top professionals, particularly when period instruments are required, makes ever increasing demands on our budget. If you would like to become more involved with the choir in this way and find out more about the categories and benefits of being a Patron, please contact the Treasurer, , 01435 831061, or send us a message via our contact page.

Friends Of Music in Mayfield

Friends Of Music in Mayfield is a registered charity founded in 1986 to encourage and further the development of musical endeavours in and around Mayfield. The friends supports:

  • music in local schools
  • the Council for Music in Hospitals
  • Jesse's Fund, dedicated to helping, through music, children who have special needs as the result of illness or disability
  • Mayfield Festival, and other concerts in Mayfield.

It has also given financial assistance towards the new organ for St. Dunstan's Church Mayfield, and the Church tower and bells appeal. It has provided financial assistance towards the commissioning of compositions and premieres of new works. The friends is entirely funded by subscription. It offers patrons and members season tickets for Festival, discounts, and a guarantee of seats at most musical events in Mayfield.
